Neurosurgery Locum Opportunity in Monterey Bay, California - Will License PA's

Job description

Work Details:
• Support staff: outpatient: surgery scheduler, MA, scribe. Inpatient work is more independent, working with surgeon directly
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time, 4 weeks/mo, 5x8/week
• Patients per day: growing service line, in clinic usually 15-20 patients/day. 5-7 surgery/weeks
• Patient population/age: all adult
• Department description: Department sees both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery patients including, pre, intra, and post op care
• EMR: epic
• Special procedures: remove drains, basic wound dressing, suture/staple removal
• Skills required: Preferred surgical specialty and/or procedural experience in a complex and/or high acuity environment. Experience with neurosurgery inpatient or outpatient strongly preferred. Willing to consider other surgical service line experiences
•Practice Setting: Inpatient/outpatient – hybrid; 70% outpatient, 30% inpatient
