Facility in Detroit, MI seeking Neurosurg-neuro-ICU APP locums coverage Rates: $150/hr Job Details Schedule: 6 PM – 6 AM (12-hour shifts), in-house coverage required Shift Requirements: 240 hours per 6-week schedule Weekend Coverage: Every 4th weekend required On-Call: None Patient Load: Average of 10 patients per shift Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke Designation Responsibilities: Rounding, consults, and postoperative care NO OR/First Assist duties NO procedural work (except simple suturing for minor lacerations) Manage acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU care, elective procedures, and postoperative management Work autonomously as an APP, with a supervising physician available off-site (on-call 24/7) Patient Population: All ages (0-99 years old) EMR System: eCare/Cerner Requirements Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) – REQUIRED Active Michigan License – REQUIRED Clean Background – REQUIRED BLS, ENLS, NIHSS – REQUIRED Michigan DEA Address – REQUIRED No new graduates – REQUIRED
