About the clinician's workday

The neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive coverage at a Level 1 trauma center requiring expertise in general neurosurgery, trauma, and spine procedures. Essential skills include EVD placement, intracranial pressure monitoring bolt insertion, craniectomy and craniotomy procedures, spine surgery, and intensive care management of severe traumatic brain injury patients. The clinician must have recent Level 1 trauma center experience within the last year and demonstrate proficiency in brain tumor management. Board certification in neurological surgery is mandatory for this 24-hour call position.
