Locum to Perm - Psychologist

Job description


Our ideal candidate will have the ability to conduct evidence-based neuropsychological evaluations; including the administration and interpretation of a wide range of neuropsychological tests.

Dates of Coverage:

8a - 5pm Monday through Friday. Open to part-time if they cannot work the full-time schedule, but full time is preferred.
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Start Date: January 25 and 26 orientation start
Any call? No call
Specialty: Neuropsych - the Dept is Neurorehab and Physician Medicine
FTE: 40 hours per week as an agency locum
EMR: Cerner
Reason for Coverage: Leave
Support Staff: They will work with another Neuropsychologist, two psychometrists and one CSR directly,
Neurology and Neurosurgery providers

Qualifications
PhD or PsyD from an American Psychological Association accredited program in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology.
Completion of a two-year postdoctoral residency program in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology
Following postdoctoral residency training, at least three+ years of clinical experience is preferred
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology
Clinical experience in the evaluation and treatment of a range of neurological and cognitive disorders
Experience working in an interdisciplinary team environment representing a broad range of providers and staff
Ability to perform pre-surgical screening evaluations (spine surgery, spinal cord stimulator, deep brain stimulator implantation)
Experience utilizing electronic medical records system

Timeframe: 90 days
Credentialing with other facilities? No

Board Certified in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology - REQUIRED OR TRULY BE.
Active WA license - REQUIRED
