Neurologist Need in IL - Epilepsy Experience Preferred

Job description

• *Ideally able to read cEEGs
• *Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS and DBS for epilepsy would be ideal
• *Experience with perioperative stero-electroencephalogram(SEEG) analysis is idea
• *Required Certifications: ABCN, Fellowship trained
• *M-F | 8a-5p, flexible schedule (full-time or part-time availability)
• *Typical Day: Provider will see 8-12 patients a day, review EMU’s and collaborate with Neurological support team
• *Ideally able to read to read cEEGs and LTEEGs, staff the EMU and support the functional neurosurgery program(e.g. brain mapping) and meet residency training requirements
• *Experience or willingness to learn the indications and management of VNS, RNS and DBS for epilepsy would be ideal
• *Experience with perioperative stero-electroencephalogram(SEEG) analysis is ideal
• *3 APP’s and neurological support team are in place to support for epilepsy surgery evaluations
• *Teaching facility with 16 Neurology Residents
