Job description
Position: Neurohospitalist
Schedule:
Shift Dates:
August 6–13
November 26–December 3
December 10–17
December 17–24
Ongoing: 7 on / 7 off schedule after Dec 24
Shifts: 12-hour shifts followed by 12-hour call (7a–7p onsite, 7p–7a call)
Details:
Patient Load: 12–14 patients per day, ~5 new consults
Coverage: Neuro critical care, stroke call, general neurology
No telestroke
Responsible for ordering tPA and soon TNK
Support: APP coverage Monday–Friday
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 45–90 days
Requirements:
Board Certification required (Consilium)
Clean background preferred
EEG reading preferred (others available if not)
Active Indiana license preferred
- Inpatient
- 6 Months
- Neuro critical care, stroke call, general neurology (no telestroke), ordering tPA and soon to be TNK
