Job Title: Locum Physician Neurology - Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology

Coverage Type: Call Only
Responsibilities:
Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology: Perform and oversee endovascular surgical procedures related to neurological conditions, including angiography, embolization, coiling, and stent placement.
Patient Care: Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders, including but not limited to stroke, aneurysms, and other cerebrovascular conditions. Provide comprehensive medical care to inpatients.
Emergency Coverage: Provide call coverage for emergency cases and consult with other healthcare professionals on complex neurological cases.
Documentation: Utilize the Cerner Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system for patient charting, order entry, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, nurses, and radiology staff, to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Education: Engage in educational activities with staff, residents, and medical students as needed.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
Board Certification: Board certified in Neurology with additional certification or expertise in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology.
State Licensure: Current, unrestricted Texas medical license.
DEA Certification: Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
CME: Compliant with continuing medical education (CME) requirements.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
