JOB SUMMARY: CARDIOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER (NP)

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our established cardiovascular team. This role offers a balanced 50/50 split between inpatient and outpatient care, rotating weekly between the hospital and the clinic to provide seamless continuity for our patients.

THE ROLE & ENVIRONMENT

Schedule: Full-time (80 hours per pay period). 4 x 10-hour shifts (0730–1630).

Clinical Rotation: NPs rotate weekly between hospital rounding and clinic-based care.

Support System: Work alongside four physicians with a dedicated MA, a Triage RN team, and a specialized device clinic staff.

Specialties: Comprehensive support across General Cardiology, Invasive Cardiology, and Electrophysiology.

Technology: EPIC EMR (includes 4 hours of dedicated training).

PATIENT VOLUME

Clinic Weeks: 15–18 patients per day.

Hospital Weeks: 8–15 patients per day.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is strictly required.

Licensure: Active Oregon license (or willingness to obtain) and DEA.

Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.

Professional Standing: Clean background with no malpractice history is highly preferred; a current NPDB Self-Query (pulled within the last 30 days) is required for submission.
