Nuclear Medicine Technologist : Keene , NH
Five 8hr days - 40hr guarantee
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs a variety of advanced imaging procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. This role requires adherence to the highest standards of imaging quality, safety, and patient care. Accuracy in record-keeping and methodical attention to radioactive safety procedures is critical.
Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures according to physician’s orders and department protocols.
* Administer radioactive materials to patients and monitor physiological responses.
* Operate nuclear imaging equipment (e.g., SPECT, gamma cameras) to produce high-quality images.
* Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in EPIC EMR system.
* Monitor and calibrate equipment daily, ensuring optimal functioning.
* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other team members to deliver high-quality care.
* Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout imaging sessions.
*Requirements:
* Minimum 2+ years of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience – Required
* Experience using EPIC EMR –Required
* Must have own vehicle – Required
* ACLS – Strongly Preferred
* Previous travel experience – Preferred
*Certifications & Licensure (Required at Submission):
*ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB
*BLS (AHA)
*New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (MIRT)
- 2+ years current Nuclear Medicine experience - Required
- Certifications/NH License/MIRT
