Management Dietitian Consultant – Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (#R10252)

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Per-Diem Management Dietitian Consultant to provide leadership, clinical consultation, and oversight of nutrition services across Arizona State Veterans Homes in Flagstaff, AZ (86001). This role ensures resident-centered, nutritionally appropriate care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, VA, and ADVS standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Clinical Nutrition & Resident Care: Assess residents’ nutritional status, develop care plans, consult with interdisciplinary teams, and provide diet counseling
✔️ Menu Planning & Analysis: Review menus for nutritional adequacy, compliance, and resident needs; perform nutritional analysis and develop standardized recipes
✔️ Food Service Operations & Compliance: Monitor meal service, conduct unannounced inspections, prepare corrective reports, and ensure regulatory adherence
✔️ Education & Program Development: Deliver nutrition education, develop training materials, conduct staff in-services, and recommend policies
✔️ Management & Quality Assurance: Support dietary supervisors, participate in QA programs, prepare for CMS/VA surveys, and maintain continuous coverage
✔️ Credentialing & Professional Conduct: Oversee dietitian credentialing, ensure compliance with licensure and safety standards, and maintain professional interactions on site

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s or higher in Nutrition or Dietetics (completed accredited program)
✔️ Minimum 900 hours of supervised dietetic practice
✔️ Current Arizona Dietitian licensure & active RD/RDN registration
✔️ Food Handler’s Card and knowledge of county/FDA Food Codes
✔️ Skilled in clinical assessment, menu development, and long-term care nutrition standards
✔️ Preferred: Experience in skilled nursing facilities, CMS/VA survey preparation, and large-scale food-service management
✔️ Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and training skills
