Start Date: April 1, 2024
Contract Length: 3 months minimum with the option to extend
Shift Details: Monday – Friday, 8:00-5:00 and occasional Saturdays. The clinic is open on alternating Saturdays from 8:00-Noon.
Call: 1:6 call rotation
Schedule: Full-time preferred, part-time considered
Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time
• Patients per day: 24 patient slots per day, the first is set aside for review of patients that day, and the last is left for admin work. The expectation is 22 PPD w/o cancellations.
• Patient population/age: Adolescent and Adult Women
• Department Description: Community Health office setting
• EMR: NextGen
• Physical exams
• Prenatal and pregnancy care
• Post-delivery care and emotional support
• Cervical cancer screenings
• Breast cancer screenings
• Reproductive health information
• Sexually transmitted infections (STI) diagnosis and treatment
• Diabetes screening and support
• Postpartum and behavioral health counseling
Practice Setting:
• Community Health Center / Office Setting
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• State license required: Yes, California
• DEA: Yes
• Minimum experience required: No minimum experience is required
Credentialing time frame: 3-4 weeks depending on candidate responsiveness.
