🛑 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (Strict Compliance):
Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Licensure: Active California Medical License or active application in progress required prior to start.
Certifications Required:
• BLS
• ACLS
• DEA
Documentation:
• Updated CV with detailed work history
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days)
• Average annual delivery volume completed by candidate
• Disclosure of malpractice or license history
Vaccination Requirement: COVID-19 vaccination required.
Experience Preferred: 1–5 years of similar practice experience highly preferred.
Candidate Restrictions:
• New graduates not accepted
• Truly Board Eligible candidates not accepted
• Candidates with lapsed board certifications not accepted
• No long-distance commuters (greater than 30 minutes)
• No providers working concurrent outside jobs
Malpractice/License History: Candidates with prior history may be considered individually with limitations applied.
📋 CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
OB Hospitalist Coverage: Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical care in a hospital-based setting.
Deliveries & Surgical Care: Perform vaginal deliveries and C-sections as clinically indicated.
Patient Management: Care for approximately 13–14 patients daily across inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings.
Technology: Utilize EPIC EMR for all patient documentation and care coordination.
Weekend Coverage: Participate in required weekend 24-hour shifts.
🏥 PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT:
Hospital-Based OB Hospitalist Program with onsite Level II NICU support.
Schedule Structure:
• 5–6 twenty-four-hour shifts per month
• Standard shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend shifts follow the same schedule as weekdays
