OB/GYN - Northern ME

The practice is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to health care services for all members of the community, and allowing the practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1 visas.

For over 20 years Health Center has provided care to a service area population numbering about 35,000 people. Health Center has a dedicated, volunteer Board of Directors, and strong, supportive relationships with the Medical Center. Health Center's providers are active members of the Hospital's Medical Staff.

The Opportunity
Status: Full-time: 40 45 hours/week, including operating room time
Patients: Community profile includes a sizeable population of women for whom GYN surgical procedures and urodynamic testing are becoming increasingly important.
On-Call Rotation 1:4

Qualifications of Applicants:

* Board Certified or board eligible
* Allopathic and osteopathic physicians will be considered equally
* American born and trained physicians and foreign-born physicians who have completed a US residency and/or fellowship will be considered equally. H-1B and J-1 candidates can be considered.
* In-practice physicians, residents or fellows, and military-trained physicians will be considered equally
