The facility is a 400-500 bed acute care community hospital within an established health system serving New Jersey. The hospital provides comprehensive 24/7 emergency services along with extensive inpatient and outpatient capabilities including specialized maternity services. The maternity unit features dedicated labor, delivery, and recovery suites as well as specialized cesarean section operating rooms.

About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive in-house obstetric coverage on 24-hour restricted call shifts with flexible ongoing scheduling. Responsibilities include managing approximately 3-7 deliveries per day plus triage patients, performing essential procedures such as C-sections and D&C procedures. The clinician will work independently within a solo coverage model while collaborating with certified nurse midwives and labor and delivery nursing staff. Documentation and patient management will be conducted through the Epic EMR system.
