Support Staff: Full office staff, special delivery staff in the hospital

Age of Patients: All

Reason for Coverage: Decrease in physicians providing OB coverage

Number of Physicians in Group: 4 OB-Gyn, 1 permanent MFM (Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist), 1 locum MFM

Call Structure: 1 OB-Gyn, 1 MFM, 1 midwife
Annual Deliveries: Average of 1600
Average Number of Calls: Varies

Number of Patients Admitted: Average of 6 Labor & Delivery patients per day, average of 13 Labor & Delivery Outpatients per day including OB Triage and scheduled NSTs

NICU Capacity: 16 licensed beds, capacity for 20 infants
Staff Support: 1 Perinatologist, 4 OB/Gyns, 7 Certified Nurse Midwives, 1 Labor & Delivery Laborist (midwife), 2 Neonatologists, 7 NICU in-house midlevel providers, Inpatient, Office, and Clinic Nurse Managers and staff

Typical Cases/Procedures: Management of Level III Labor & Delivery patients, Tubal Ligations, and Circumcisions are a must

Will Take BE: Yes, within 5 years of residency
Air Ambulance Availability: Yes, Medstar services available 24/7 weather permitting
Licensure Requirement: All physicians must be licensed in PA when confirming
