Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled obstetrician to join our team as a High-Risk Obstetrics Hospitalist. This position requires experience and training in high-risk obstetrics, as well as proficiency in standard OB hospitalist work. As an OB hospitalist, you will assist private OBs with c-sections, provide support during inductions, assume care of drop-in patients, cover hospital consults and the ER, and manage triage in the delivery room and GYN ED. This is a full-spectrum OBGYN hospitalist role that involves 24-hour in-house shifts.
Availability: The ideal candidate should be available for 4-6 shifts per month. The length of the position is for 3 months, and there is a 90-day credentialing time frame. Expedited privileges may be possible based on your qualifications.
Cross Credentialing: To be considered for this position, you must be willing to cross-credential at all Medical City sites, including Plano, Dallas, Las Colinas, Lewisville, and Arlington.
Submission Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have an active Texas medical license and DEA. Additionally, you must have a clean background and malpractice history. Certification Requirements: The following certifications are required for this position:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Board certification or eligibility
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration)
State License Requirement: You must have an active medical license in the state of Texas.

• Daily patient load: 1-10
• Level III NICU
