About the clinician's workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through 24-hour in-house call shifts managing approximately 170 monthly hospital deliveries with an average of 18 deliveries for hospitalists monthly. Primary responsibilities include responding to obstetric emergencies, performing cesarean sections and gynecologic procedures, and managing labor and delivery cases during assigned shifts. The position requires collaboration with in-house anesthesia support while maintaining continuous on-site availability for optimal patient care delivery. Documentation must be completed using electronic medical record systems with no maternal-fetal medicine specialists available on-site.
