Midwives Needed in IL - Negotiable Pay Rate

Job description

Specialty: Certified Nurse Midwife

Contract Length: Ongoing (prefer minimum 3 month commitment)

Shift Details: 7 days a week; 7a-7p; will need to fill with at least 2 people

Schedule: 7a-7p; Sunday-Saturday

Hospital bed size: Postpartum unit has 20 beds

Special procedures: first assist on c-section; vaginal repairs

Skills required: run OB triage, first assist in c-section, deliver patients, vaginal repairs, patient evaluation. Please note, physicians are responsible for laboring moms on the floor and also see gyn consults in the hospital. Midwives will provide backup as needed.

Minimum of 2 years of experience required

License: IL License Required

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 Days
