Job Title: Locum Physician Occupational Medicine

Board Status: Certified
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments for patients in need of occupational health services.
Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, as well as provide preventive care and health promotion.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and support staff, to deliver integrated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic software.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards, as well as occupational health and safety regulations.
Provide guidance and support to injured workers, helping them navigate the workers' compensation process.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.
Adhere to established clinical protocols and best practices in occupational medicine.
Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Occupational Medicine.
Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Washington.
DEA registration for prescribing medications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with specific experience in Epic preferred.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Dedication to providing patient-centered care with a focus on safety and quality.
Availability to work on a locum basis for a specified period.
