Retina Surgeon (Ophthalmologist) needed in Baltimore, MD! WILL LICENSE

Job description

Location: Baltimore, MD
Start Date: Late May/Early June
Call Schedule: if there’s an after-hours emergency, it goes to residents, then triage, then lastly to the specialist.
Shift Details: clinical days: 8:30a-4p, surgeries in morning and see patients in afternoon for consultations. 8:30-4:00, treating patient and consultants and resident training.
Schedule: 3-4 days per week (will take either), every other Monday there are surgeries (Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs or Mon/Tues/Wed) the alternate weeks are Tues-Fri or Tues-Thurs. Facilitate educational sessions with the residents on Thurs and/or Fri.
· Patients per day: volumes: on avg seeing about 25 patients.
· Patient population/age: primarily 60yrs +, there are peds ophthalmologist on staff, and nuero ophthalmologist.
· EMR: Modernizing Medicine
· Special procedures: Retina
· Skills required: retina tares, ruptured globes. May scrub in w/ the cornea specialist, but not a requirement. Will work with residents and providing them educational sessions.
Practice Setting:
· Surgery Center, Hospital, and office
Requirements:
· Board Certification: BC required. Fellowship.
·WILL LICENSE WITH IMLC
Credentialing Timeframe: up to 90 days
