Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our well-established practice in East Orange, New Jersey. With over 55 years of providing exceptional eye care to our community, our practice sees 30-40 patients daily and offers a wide range of services, including OCT, Laser, B-scan, VF, dry eye management, and routine eye examinations. We are looking for a passionate Ophthalmologist to continue our tradition of excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Eye Examinations: Conduct thorough eye examinations, including refractions, intraocular pressure measurements, visual field testing, and other essential diagnostic procedures.

Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and treat a variety of eye conditions and diseases, including but not limited to cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome.

OCT and Laser Procedures: Perform optical coherence tomography (OCT) scans and laser procedures as necessary for the diagnosis and management of eye conditions.

B-Scan: Utilize B-scan ultrasound imaging to assess ocular structures when required.

Visual Field Testing: Administer visual field tests to detect and monitor conditions affecting the visual field.

Patient Consultations: Communicate effectively with patients, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and answering their questions and concerns.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory standar
