Position Overview

Seeking Orthopedic Surgery 24-Hour Call Coverage in AZ for a Level IV trauma facility. This opportunity requires both inpatient and outpatient coverage, including rounding, consults, and admissions.

Practice Details

Level IV Trauma Facility

Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities

Department Size: 12 beds

Average Patient Volume: 5–7 patients per day

Admissions: 6 or fewer

Patient Consults: Required

Rounding: Required (inpatient and outpatient)

Support Staff: 1 RN and 1 MA

Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage with 15-minute response time

Manage inpatient and outpatient orthopedic cases

Perform consults and admissions as needed

Provide rounding coverage

Deliver comprehensive orthopedic care in a trauma setting

Requirements

Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

Active Arizona medical license or IMLC

Ability to meet 15-minute call response time
