Position: Orthopedic Surgeon – Physician
Location: The Villages, FL
Position Type: Full-time / Permanent
Compensation: $450,000 Base annually + RVU + Supervision Reimbursement and Full spectrum of benefits.(Full Renumeration Package upwards of $600,000)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Orthopedic surgeon to join our growing team in Florida. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to serve as Chief of Orthopedics /Medical Director Orthopedics :Clinic + ASC + Hospital Previleges.

This role includes ramp-up support, full credentialing assistance, and clinical oversight of a dedicated team of Alternative pathway but fully licensed Orthopedic Physicians, Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) who will work under the surgeon’s supervision.

The position is only eligible for physicians who have completed both their residency and fellowship training in the United States through the Accredited ACGME program and are eligible for full Insurance and credentialing for Payer and hospitals.

Clean Malpractice credentials are a must.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive orthopedic surgical care, including diagnostics, surgical intervention, and post-operative management.

Collaborate with and supervise alternative pathways but fully licensed orthopedic physicians, NPs and PA involved in orthopedic patient care.

Participate in the credentialing process, working with hospital teams to maintain compliance with all state and federal standards.

Lead and execute a ramp-up plan to gradually build patient volume and optimize clinic and OR scheduling.

Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and best practices.

Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives within the orthopedic service line.

Qualifications:
MD or DO, Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.

Active or eligible Florida medical license.

Completion of both residency and fellowship training in the U.S.

Strong surgical skills and ability to manage a broad range of orthopedic conditions.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:
Annual Salary: $450,000 + RVU.
