This Level 2 Trauma facility manages approximately 40,000 visits per year and provides inpatient and operating room orthopedic surgical services. The facility maintains established clinical protocols to support quality orthopedic care delivery for its patient population. Locum tenens coverage is sought on an ongoing basis to ensure continuity of surgical services.

About the clinician's workday

The orthopedic surgeon will provide in-house call coverage on an inpatient and operating room basis, with assignments scheduled for 2 weekends per month, Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM, beginning August 1st. The clinician will provide 8 hours of patient-facing time per day, with a 7:00 AM OR block available each day. There are no designated trauma operating rooms at this facility. Board certification in orthopedic surgery is required for this assignment.
