Job Title: Locum Physician Orthopedic Surgery Location: Albuquerque, NM
EMR: Epic
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Call Only
Patients Per Shift: 3 -5 Board Status: Eligible
Surgeries/procedures required: level 3 trauma, general orthopedic cases including fractures
Candidate must be able to work a "Hospitalist schedule" = 7 days on and 7 days off for call coverage only.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic concerns.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating both surgical and non-surgical interventions.
Perform orthopedic surgeries with precision and expertise.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless and comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using Epic.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of New Mexico.
Proven experience in orthopedic surgery, with a focus on patient-centered care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
