Job description

We are working with a hospital in Vermont that is needing an Orthopedic Surgeon for 2 weeks per month of coverage:

Specialty: Orthopedic Surgeon
Setting: Clinic/Hospital
Start Date: Oct - ongoing
Requirements: BC ORS, VT license or IMLC, DEA, BLS, ACLS
Pay: $2400/8 hr clinic day OR 24 hr pager coverage + $375/hr call back after 2 hrs of gratis on 24 hr pager shifts + travel/lodging + malpractice insurance
Schedule: 4 clinic days and the rest are OR days or call
Call: yes
Patient Load/Age: 3-5 cases on OR days
Procedures: Fracture care; Shoulder Arthroscopy; Knee Arthroscopy; Hand/Wrist Procedures; Possible Joint Replacement
EMR: EPIC
COVID vax needed: yes
Credentialing timeframe: 30 – 45 days
