Schedule: Days, 5x8s
Call: None
Fellowship: Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required
Certification: Must be Pediatric Anesthesia Board Certified
Experience: Level I Trauma experience required; must be self-sufficient and comfortable in a high-energy, fast-paced setting
Case Mix: All surgical subspecialties except cardiac and burns
Neonatal Experience: Must have recent and regular neonatal case experience with logs + 2 references at time of submission
Supervision: None – independent work
Licensing: Open to licensing (30–60 days)
Background Requirements: Must have a clean background; providers named in a case cannot be considered
Facility: Level I Trauma Center, 17 ORs
Privileging Timeline: Approx. 90 days
Travel: Reimbursed with receipts
Team: Avg. 5–10 locums in the department year-round

- High-acuity experience – Level I Trauma + all subspecialties (except cardiac/burns)
