ASSIGNEMENT DETAILS: JO # 2752216
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Target Start: February
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Shift Details: Day shifts with overnight beeper and some weekend call.
• Schedule: Flexible based on your availability and if able to do adult cases as well
• Support Staff: Pediatric anesthesiologist who will work with a care team model – some cases solo.
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 40 hours per week
• Patients per day: Average monthly volume is 960 cases with 30% of those falling in pediatric category.
• Patient Population/Age: Neonates to adults
• Department Description: 22 anesthesiologist and 65 anesthetists – both CAA and CRNA, all types of cases including trauma and stroke (if open to adult call)
• EMR: Cerner
• Special Procedures: All required to care for pediatric patients; all types of pedi cases; general adults. Physician must be comfortable performing solo cases on NICU babies
• Required: Board Certified with Pediatric Fellowship, Active FL license, ACLS, PALS, DEA, 2 years experience
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered
