Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiology NP to provide night shift coverage in South Central CT. This assignment offers a collaborative environment with strong physician and fellow support.

Assignment Details
-Start Date: February 2026
-Contract Length: 6 months
-Shift Details: 3x12 hour night shifts per week (12 shifts/month)
-Schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM; Tuesday–Thursday nights preferred with 1–2 weekends per month (flexible)

Work Details
-Support Staff: Full hospital support; one attending and one fellow present on nights
-Patient Volume: Typically 5–6; 10–12 on surgery days
-Patient Population: Pediatric (Cardiac ICU)
-EMR: Epic
-Special Procedures: Central line placement, intubation, arterial line placement; pacer wire experience a plus but not required

Practice Setting
-Hospital

Requirements
-Board Certification: Certified ACNP or Physician Assistant
-State License: CT license preferred; will consider licensing
-DEA: Required
-CSR: Required
-Certifications: PALS, ACLS
-Minimum Experience: 3+ years
