Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic needed in Langhorne, PA

Dates of Coverage: Per diem
Reason for Coverage: PA left on 4/23/25
Practice Setting: Mostly hospital based.
Schedule (Shifts/Hours): 7a - 5p plus on call hours. Must be able to do weekends at least once per month.
Call Schedule: Occasional weekday coverage with on call
Call Ratio: 1:3
Average Number of Patients Per Day: Varies
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Will APP be Working Autonomously? No
Must have at least two years Cardiothoracic training.
Must be able to perform endoscopic vein harvesting and radial harvest.t.
Patient Age Demographic: Adult and Geriatric
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 2-4 weeks
Provider Must be Local - Only Mileage is Reimbursed

Pre-Op Physical Exams
Suture Removal
Diagnose Illnesses
Treat Illnesses
Order Tests
Interpret Tests
Assist in Surgery
Write Prescriptions
Coordination of Care
Rounding
Chest Tube Insertions
Endoscopic Retrieval

REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified - Active PA licensure - REQUIRED
Active PA License - REQUIRED
ACLS and BLS - REQUIRED
Provider Must be Local - REQUIRED
