Pediatric Hospitalist Needed in Kansas

Job description

Specialty: Pediatric Hospitalist
Requirements: 3-4 pediatric patients per week that will be rounded on. Physician must be present for C-sections
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
Call: 24-hour call coverage -not required to stay in the hospital, but responsible for admits, rounding, dismissals and deliveries
Procedures: Basic vent management, newborn intubations, LPs, Umbilical lines. Anesthesiologist for backup on central lines and intubations
Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS
EMR: CPSI/Evident - will be taught during orientation
COVID vax needed: Vaccination or approved exemption
Credentialing timeframe: 2-4 weeks
