Practice Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Call Only
COVERAGE:
Call only covering ED and L&D
Must have NRP
1.5 PPD
Supported with RN's and other MD's
NO IMLC
BC required
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-call coverage for pediatric patients in an inpatient setting.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric medical conditions.
Collaborate with nursing staff, other physicians, and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Review patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using the MEDHOST system.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Board certification in Pediatrics.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Arizona.
Familiarity with the MEDHOST EMR system is preferred but not mandatory.
