Pediatric Locum Opportunity | Coastal North Carolina | July–August Coverage

Job description

A well-established private pediatric practice located along the coastal region of North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician for short-term coverage through early August, while they await the start of a new permanent provider.

This is an outpatient-only role in a supportive, low-turnover practice known for personalized patient care.

Position Highlights:
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM

Patient Volume: 25–30 patients per day

Ages Seen: 6 months – 18 years

Solo Coverage: Required from July 15–18 while the owner is at a conference

Team Support: 2–3 MAs, Office Manager, and a second Pediatrician (owner)

EMR: PCC – training provided

Scribe support included for the locum

Requirements:
Active North Carolina license

Must be enrolled with Medicare and Medicaid

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Comfortable with solo coverage during designated dates

Logistics:
Drive-in candidates only

Lodging provided (Hotel or Airbnb)
