We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Physician specializing in Pediatrics Critical Care Medicine to join our healthcare team in Amarillo, TX. As a Locum Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities:
Provide specialized medical care and treatment to pediatric patients in the Critical Care Medicine department.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Perform thorough medical evaluations, diagnose conditions, and create tailored treatment plans for critically ill children.
Document patient information accurately and promptly using the Epic EMR system.
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics Critical Care Medicine.
Proven experience in providing specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with medical teams and interact compassionately with patients and their families.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Epic.
Adaptability and willingness to work in an inpatient setting, managing both scheduled clinical hours and on-call duties.
Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and medical ethics.
