Location: Located less than one hour from downtown Austin and two hours from Dallas. Part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood metropolitan area, the area has almost one half million residents who enjoy a low cost of living, an excellent school system and being close to two large lakes. Facility: This opportunity is with a Federally Qualified Community health Center serving Central Texas. They’re committed to providing person-centered, behaviorally enhanced health care home, which includes primary care, dental, integrated mental health, women’s health services, and low cost medications. Opportunity: Brand new Primary Care Center opening north of Austin. Monday to Friday work schedule. Pediatrician opening looking for a candidate with experience and board certification. Work alongside APRNs, a therapy team and Family Practitioners. Excellent work-life balance. No weekends required. Average patient census is 20-22. No inpatient work or OB coverage required. Compensation: Base salary is negotiable based on experience and there is a bonus program based on encounters. Malpractice with tail coverage through the Federal Tort Claims Act.
