Job description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
Complete documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness
Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies.
Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associates/ 2 year degree
Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care commensurate with the NBRC credential
Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory care
Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
Licensed by the State Board of Medicine OR State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
Must have BCLS/ BLS certification

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ACLS and/or NALS preferred
Prior experience preferred
