Oncology/Plastic Surgery PA & NP Needed in CA

Job description

I have a client in San Francisco seeking an experienced Oncology/Plastic Surgery PA or NP for locum coverage starting in July. Here are some details:

Start: 7/8/24
Shifts/Schedules: Tue-Fri, 4x10hr Shifts, Days

Patients per day: Independent clinics are ~ 12/day. Shared clinics 20-30/patients (divided amongst the team

Credentialing: 60 – 90 Days

Requirements:
Board Certification: Yes; PA, must have Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (HARD REQUIREMENT). NP, must have AGNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC, AGPCNP-BC, ACNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, or ACNPC-AG.

DEA: Yes

Certifications required: AHA BLS

Minimum experience required: 1-5yrs of recent and relevant surgical oncology and/or plastic surgery experience as an APP.

Must have surgery experience or outpatient clinic experience.

Comfortable with performing procedures (biopsy, tissue expansion, wound care).

Experience in a high patient volume oncology practice/environment heavily preferred.

Breast experience highly preferred.
