The psychiatric nurse practitioner will deliver specialized inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients requiring acute mental health treatment in a hospital setting. Primary clinical duties include conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, managing psychotropic medications, and developing individualized treatment plans while working part-time coverage including weekend shifts from Saturday 8am to Monday 8am. The position requires maintaining on-call availability for PRN shifts during weekdays and weekends, performing patient rounds, and collaborating with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care coordination throughout the inpatient psychiatric unit.
