Full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed in San Antonio, TX

Job description

Due to growth, we are currently recruiting a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a full service primary health care system located in San Antonio TX. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides quality, comprehensive out-patient behavioral health care services to the Center’s patients consulting with supervising physician and abiding by appropriate clinical protocols; reports directly to the Lead Psychiatrist regarding clinical issues and activities related to the delivery of Behavioral Health care. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s Degree from an accredited university in a Nurse Practitioner Program

Previous experience as Family Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry required

Must have current unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner from the Texas Board of Nursing

Annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty

Must be registered and have current DEA
