About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with call coverage required one weekend per month. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing medications for patients with acute psychiatric crises, severe and persistent mental illness, substance use issues, and developmental disabilities. The clinician will maintain detailed documentation and collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective care delivery for patients with an average length of stay of 7-10 days. Prescriptive authority is required for this position treating adult patients requiring acute psychiatric intervention.
