About the clinician's workday

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive inpatient psychiatric care for adults ages 55 and older during day shifts with 24-hour call coverage. Clinical duties include conducting psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, floor consultations, and emergency department consults while managing medications for patients requiring acute psychiatric intervention. The clinician will maintain detailed documentation and collaborate with facility staff to ensure effective care delivery for patients admitted to the psychiatric unit.
