Telemedicine Psychiatry Opportunity in California

Job description

• Specialty: Remote Psychiatry MD
• Start Date: Upon Completion of Credentialing
• Contract Length: 6 months
• Schedule: 5-hour shifts, up to 20 hrs per week, M-F, no weekends.
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Monday through Friday
• Patients per day: 6-10 1-hour initial evaluations, 30-minute follow-ups, 1 hour for quality chart reviews.
• Patient population/age: Adults, Geriatrics Moderately to severely mentally ill adults
• Department description:
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Candidates will need to feel comfortable with IOP/PHP programs and have experience working with those.
• Practice Setting: Remote position
• Board Certification: Yes, Psychiatry (Board Eligible included)
• State license required: Yes, State of CA
• DEA: Yes
• Minimum experience required: 1 year post-residency
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
