Forensic Psychiatrist needed for part-time coverage 
Facility located in Chicago, IL
2-3 days per week (30 hours max)
7:30a – 4:00p
6-month contract with option to extend
BC/BE in General Psychiatry or Forensic Psychiatry
Experience with Forensic Psychiatry preferred
Scope of work:
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, and make referral and treatment recommendations
• Prescribe pharmaceutical drugs that are listed in the approved Bureau of Prisons (BOP) Formulary
• Evaluate, assess, and create treatment plans for patients with psychiatric illnesses
• Provide updates regarding prognosis and response to treatment
• Enter psychiatric encounters into Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR)
• Acquire all necessary consent/refusal forms
• Perform Forensic Psychiatric evaluations, complete forensic reports to be submitted to Federal Courts, and give testimony before Federal courts when requested by video or in person at the Federal Court House in whichever is needed
Provider must use facility EMR, training will be provided
Any state license accepted
