Job Title: Locum Physician- Psychiatry
Location: Holyoke, MA

Board Status: Certified and Eligible
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Calls Only
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive psychiatric care to inpatients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of psychiatric conditions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
Participate in daily rounds, chart reviews, and case discussions to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Be available for on-call duties as specified to address emergent psychiatric issues and provide consultations to nursing staff and other medical professionals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) using Cerner, documenting patient progress, treatment plans, and relevant information.
Adhere to all relevant ethical and professional guidelines and standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Psychiatry.
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry.
A valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality psychiatric care.
Proficiency in using EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness and availability to fulfill on-call responsibilities.
