Part-Time Outpatient Psychiatrist (Adult)

Start Date: January 5, 2026
Duration: Initial 3-month contract with option to extend
Schedule:

12 hours per week

Preferred: 3–4 hour days (9:00 AM–1:00 PM)

Will consider: 2 days at 6 hours each

Administrative time included within the 12 hours

Location: Onsite (private office provided)

Patient Population

Adults 18+

Strong focus on LGBTQ+ community

Majority of patients are transgender men, transgender women, and non-binary individuals

⚠️ Candidates must be experienced and fully comfortable working with LGBTQ+ populations.

Clinical Responsibilities

5–7 patients per day

Initial psychiatric evaluations: 60 minutes

Medication management visits: 30 minutes

Clinical Cases Include

HIV-positive patients

Severe mental illness (SMI)

Depression

Personality disorders

Schizophrenia

Team & Environment

Collaborative, community-driven setting

Support staff includes 3 Social Workers (LCSWs)

Candidate must work well within a multidisciplinary team and be comfortable in a community-based care model

EMR

Cares / Outlook

Requirements

Board Certified preferred (not required)

Must accept Medicare and Medicaid

Prior experience with complex psychiatric populations strongly preferred
