Job description

Full Time Inpatient Psychiatrists Needed with On-call
7on 7off; 24 shifts
Morning meetings at 8am onsite then consults until done (3pm to 5pm)
On call
Starts on Friday at 5pm to the following Friday at 5pm
Take emergency call on a rotating basis on evenings weekends and holidays; batch calls overnight when possible
Adults only (18 to Geriatric)
12 bed unit
low volume of high acuity patients due to size
Admissions take place after hours but have 24 hours to work them up; discharges and consults during the day
Averages 5 patients a day
ALOS - 3 to 5 days
Support staffs
Liaison Nurse, 2 RNs, Psy Counselors, 3 LCSWs, and a Hospitalists
EMR - Meditech, Expanse, and Dragon
