Psychiatrist – Part-Time (On-Site)

Houston, TX

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our outpatient behavioral health team in Houston, TX. This is a part-time, on-site position with a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.

Position Details

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Schedule:

1 day per week on-site (Monday or Tuesday only)

Appointment Lengths:

Initial psychiatric evaluations: 45 minutes

Medication management visits: 30 minutes

EMR: eClinicalWorks

Credentialing: Emergency credentialing available

Clinical Scope

Depression

Anxiety

ADHD

Bipolar disorder

Patients with HIV

Other general adult psychiatric conditions

Supervision Responsibilities

Supervise 2 PMHNPs

Supervision is compensated separately outside of clinical workdays

Audit 1% of charts

One PMHNP works full-time; the other two work 1 day per week each

Support & Resources

Dedicated Medical Assistant assigned exclusively to you

LCSWs on staff

Additional Psychiatrist on-site (senior clinician nearing retirement)

Collaborative, team-based care model

Qualifications

MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency

Board Certified preferred, Board Eligible considered

Must be in-network with Medicaid and Medicare or willing/able to apply
