Location: Montpelier, the capital city in Vermont! This city offers exciting outdoor recreational activities, iconic historical landmarks, and a taste of the state's famous maple syrup. Facility: A private company that provides medical disability examination and evaluation services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Opportunity: Willing to accept providers with sporadic availability - will be on an as-needed basis. Two (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice Will bill per exam Initial PTSD exams, follow up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams Own personal laptop (NO MACs) (DBQs) Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. End product is completion of standardized form(s). Evaluations to be completed in provider portal Record review is required in most cases Compensation: Malpractice rates must be included in rates Initial PTSD Exam (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time) PTSD follow up and all other mental health exams (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT, no admin time) Bonus - one time bonus for completing all required training and working first shift/exam local candidates only, travel included in rates
