Location: Midtown Manhattan (Kips Bay Neighborhood)! Facility: A 725 bed facility to take care of people requiring an inpatient stay with 66 state-of-the-art operating rooms, an advanced critical care unit, a labor and delivery unit that brings more than 4,200 babies into the world each year, an electrophysiology suite to care for patients experiencing abnormal heart rhythms, and a neonatal intensive care unit for our tiniest patients. Opportunity: Locums ER Psychiatry Coverage * Ongoing PRN Coverage Dates Available: most likely up to 10 shifts per month (open to multiple providers to cover; candidate does not have to do all 10 shifts) * Shifts are flexible for swing and nights 9p-12p, nights 12a-9a or 9p-9a. any day or weekends are available. * Up to 2-3 shifts a week, ongoing or PRN * Providing coverage to entire hospital: ED, one Inpatient Psych Unit (22-bed voluntary (very quiet), emergency consults to the Med/Surg/OB floors) * Average Case Load: 3 new consults/shift * Support Staff: Social Worker and RN dedicated to the ED overnight* * 6 holding beds shared with an NYU Psychiatrist Resident or Fellow Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay and malpractice.
