Locums - Physician - Interventional Radiology - MI

Shift Details:
Estimated Start Date: December 25, 2025
Requested Dates of Coverage: December 25 – December 30, 2025

Schedule Details:
Daytime: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities include inpatient consults, outpatient clinic visits, and performing general invasive interventional radiology procedures
Supervision of 3 full-time APPs who perform procedures and inpatient consults
Call: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM for 7 days, including coverage on either Christmas Day or New Year’s Day
Number of Shifts Needed: 6 (December 25–30)
Clinical Details:
Case Mix: General invasive interventional radiology procedures
Typical Volume: 9–10 procedures per day (inpatient and outpatient)
Common Procedures: Biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and other general IR procedures
Patient Population: Adult; includes supervision of APPs

Requirements:
Certifications Needed: Active medical license in Michigan
Willing to License: No – active Michigan license required
Estimated Privileging Timeline: 30 days
